Oz - Ulgas

We land in Uluru after dark and I find Sedric our accommodation guide in the toilets. Sedric is a praying mantis, which is an extraordinary insect, when mating the female turns her head round and chews off the males head. Come to think of it that's just like a girl I saw once... except the male praying mantis gets laid...

In the morning Ranj and I hire a car and drive to the Ulgas, a large group of rocks in the middle of the desert. On the way we pass lots of tornadoes, we didn’t see anyone running off screaming so we decided it was normal, come to think of it we didn’t see anyone!...

With Ayers Rock behind us we start exploring...

As we drive back we pass Ayers Rock for a sneak preview...
