Oz - Outback
As dusk closes in I persuade Ranj to spend a night in the outback...
I kip under the stars and as the moon drops below the horizon the stars are a real sight to behold. Saying that the insects are so big even when they aren't walking over you you can here them walk past. I hear what I presume is the odd roo bound past and as I tell Ranj I'm starting to worry about these big animal sounds I hear the unmistakable clunk of central locking. 'what shall I do if I get attacked by a pack of wild dingos?' I ask 'knock on the window' says Ranj!...
I may be about to get crushed to death by a giant clitoris but I could have worn something more appropriate. Us brits dress sense really goes out the window with a little heat...
The flight to Cairns and the landscape changes from sun scorched sand to lush green forests...
